Our Vision
DataScientia Knowledge Commons is a shared space where community members, students, researchers, educators, and partner universities can exchange knowledge, ideas, questions, stories, and local perspectives. It supports the first step of the DataScientia vision: sharing knowledge so that communities can learn together, identify meaningful needs, and transform local knowledge into education, research, and innovation activities.
What is Knowledge Commons?
Knowledge Commons is the information and sharing layer of the DataScientia Community. It helps people make knowledge visible before it becomes a course, a research project, a dataset, or an innovation activity.
It can include discussions, seminars, short explainers, concept notes, local case studies, community questions, project ideas, cultural and linguistic observations, and curated resources contributed by DataScientia members and partners.
Why it matters?
The future of AI should not be built only from dominant languages, cultures, and perspectives. Knowledge Commons helps preserve and share local, linguistic, cultural, and contextual knowledge so that it can contribute to more inclusive and diversity-aware AI.
By making local knowledge visible, the community can identify what needs to be learned, researched, collected, protected, or transformed into useful tools and services.

This section brings together voices from across the DataScientia network, including partners, researchers, speakers, participants, and experts from different domains. Through short interviews, they reflect on what they learned, how they experienced DataScientia activities, and how they see the future of AI, data, and collaboration.
